Description

Five Nights at Nintendo Land: Recoded was a version of the original 2015 fangame made in 4 days that intended to fix issues, improve mechanics and add new content. After a while it was taken down due to its poor quality and rushed nature and restarted as FNaNL: Reborn. Now, one year later, its back and heavily improved, with much better A.I, cleaner graphics, better optimization and new gameplay features.

Development history

The game was made in 2022; I was still learning the Clickteam engine.
I remembered seeing a video related to Five Nights at Nintendo Land a while back and for some reason, the game stuck with me. With a friend's help, I was able to get the assets of the game and started to recode it. The game started development on June 23 of that year. The game release on the 27th of that month. Leaving a short four days for the development. The game had a lot of inaccuracy and bugs. However, I had lost the files for the game stopping me from being able to update it. Later on, we found a way to get the files back and Nintendoland Pikachu worked on a major update on the game to fix it. Here is a list of some issues fixed

-Meta Knight using a wrong path due to an error in the FNaNL wiki at the time*.

-Characters being way too slow.

-Changed a lot of the balancing to be more fun and harder.

*Additional fun fact: Recoded was later added to the wiki before being removed from it. The wiki had some false information. For example, it was mentioned Mario slows down when being watched on the cameras like Freddy's in the first FNaF games despite this not being the case. This is not meant to hate on the wiki since a lot of the information was corrected/removed
